Add fun to your summer gardening with free printable garden Bingo cards. Play with kids, family, or friends, and take a break from the heat.
Summer in the garden is nothing short of magical. Look around and you’ll find buzzing bumblebees, ripening tomatoes, and all kinds of little delights that make all the hard work and sweat worthwhile.
But, if I’m being honest, the middle of summer can also feel sluggish.
The heat and humidity make it hard to be out enjoying the garden. Summer chores feel endless.
Weeds grow like weeds, and it seems like something is always just one watering can away from withering up and dying.
So, let’s take a break from intensive summer gardening, and have a little fun instead!
I’ve made this set of printable Bingo cards for you to enjoy with friends, your kids, or just for yourself when you want to slow down and have some lighthearted fun in the garden.
Grab your favorite summer drink and let’s take a break from summer garden chores together.
How to Play Summer Garden Bingo
Garden Bingo is a little different from regular Bingo. You have to complete an activity or spot the thing to be able to mark off a square.
I’ve included recommended rules for a quick round and a long round. Whichever you decide to play, start off as follows:
- Download the Bingo card set.
- Print it out.
- Use whatever you like as markers—a handful of small pebbles, stickers, dried beans, or even flower petals.
- As you notice things or do the activities in your garden, mark the corresponding square.
The middle space is always free.
To mark the Harvest Bonus box, all you have to do is harvest something out of the garden!

Quick Round
Set a time limit (ten minutes, half an hour, a weekend, whatever works best).
Score the round like this:
- complete row (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal) = 10 points
- marked box = 2 points
- harvest bonus box = 3 points
- unmarked box = -1 point
Highest score wins.
Long Round
You can also play a long, slow round all summer long. Think of it like a scavenger hunt and see if you can mark every single box on your card.
To keep “score” for your long round of garden Bingo, reward yourself with a little treat when you complete a row!
The treat can be anything from going out for ice cream, buying a new pack of seeds, or indulging in a relaxing bubble bath.
This will make it a little more exciting to complete those garden chores, and take the sting off garden annoyances and unfortunate events, if you know what I mean!
Make Your Own Summer Bingo Card
I’ve also included a blank card in the download for you to make your own custom version.
You can fill it with garden chores (and reward yourself with treats when you mark off a box!) or things you want to accomplish.
Or fill the card with things that are unique to your garden like that gnome statue you picked up at Hobby Lobby last year for a quick round.
Whatever you choose to do, have fun and just enjoy being in your garden!
